Corps Commander Quetta Corps Lt. Gen. Sarfraz Ali Visits SBKWU

Corps Commander Quetta Corps, Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali, appreciated the key role of women in national development in an informal conversation with the Faculty during a visit to SBK Women's University. He especially praised the courage and strength of the women of Balochistan who have dispelled the impression that the solution to the problems of the society is not possible at the local level. The corps commander urged the women of the province to encourage the new generation to come out of the cage of sense of deprivation and fly in the open air with a spirit of positive competition. In the present Balochistan, women are coming forward in all walks of life and showcasing their talents, a glimpse of which was seen during the recent Balochistan Excellence Awards ceremony.

Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali lauded the decades-long efforts and services of SBK Women's University for the education and training of women in Balochistan and termed its faculty as the most important pillar of the university. He said that teachers are the architects of any society and help in shaping its future. The Corps Commander termed the education and training of the young generation as a great national service of the teachers and said that the teachers are not only the guardians of the highest values ​​of any society and they have to defend the new generation from all kinds of negative propaganda in this day and age. It is their duty to do so and to promote and encourage positive thinking.

General Sarfraz Ali said that Balochistan is a multi-faceted province and it is possible for the people to understand its problems and issues immediately. He added that the solution to these complex problems lies in sincere efforts under an effective strategy based on good intentions. He also pointed out the need for reforms in the administrative structure of Balochistan. He termed other important projects including CPEC as hopeful to alleviate the sense of deprivation in Balochistan.

Corps Commander Lt. Gen. Sarfraz Ali also directed the renovation of the university auditorium and announced the issuance of Cantt entry passes for all university faculty.

Earlier, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Sajida Noureen ,received the Corps Commander Lt. Gen. Sarfraz Ali and DIG FC North, Brigadier Ahmed Nawaz, on their arrival at the University while commemorative shields were also exchanged at the end of the session.
