Quality Assurance Policy

We, at Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University (SBKWU), are committed to provide with quality education compatible with international standards to female students only. Balochistan has the Privilege to house the Pakistan’s third and Baluchistan’s first women university at Quetta, this University is established on 18 March 2004.

SBKWU Quality Assurance Department has the privilege to score highest ranking securing 95% (W – Category) among the third phase of quality Assurance by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC). The University imparts academic and professional education in more than 29 disciplines, from BS to Doctorate, with the determination to add new ones.

We shall achieve the above objectives by:

  • →  Stressing on the education of women to empower them to play their vital role in the development of the society and improvement of the economy of Pakistan in general and Balochistan in particular.
  • →  Diligently striving to increase quality standards in various disciplines of higher education.
  • →  Focusing main emphasis, being a supporter of the cause of women education in Pakistan, on improving quality education for women.
  • →  Ensuring student’s needs and expectations of achieving quality higher education to the best of our resources by hiring highly qualified teaching staff.
  • →  Developing and improving the Quality Management System compatible with the International Standards.
  • →  Maintaining the high standards to the best satisfaction of all the stakeholders.
  • →  Conducting Management Reviews of the effectiveness of the implementation of the Integrated Management System.
  • →  Impart value-added and excellent collaborative research to public and private sectors through strategic partnerships.

The management system, including this policy and objectives, shall be continuously reviewed by the Management of the University to ensure that it remains effective and applicable at all times. The University management will also look for setting new objectives and continuously improving the system.
